A taste of NHL Hockey is coming to the Cloquet Ice Arena on Wednesday, March 14th at 6:00 p.m. as part of this year's CCM High School All-Star Hockey Series. The game will feature former NHL Alumni and who all have a connection to Minnesota Hockey. The event features players like Shjon Podein, who played college hockey at the University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) and then went on to play for the Edmonton Oilers, Philadelphia Flyers, Colorado Avalanche and most recently the St. Louis Blues in 2003.

The Arrowhead Printing NHL Alumni Game will feature two teams of NHL Alumni that will be comprised of the Minnesota Stars (NHL players who have a connection to UMD and Northern Minnesota), against the Minnesota North Stars (NHL players who played for the Minnesota North Stars and or have a connection to the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers).
